If you have high-risk factors for COVID or you have had any condition or treatment in the last twelve months which could compromise your immunity you may be asked to provide written consent from a medical professional before undertaking face-to-face sessions. Online sessions are fine, of course.
If you are not sure if you fall under this provision, please contact me for more information.
updated 15 May 2021 - rules apply from 17th May
I can make face to face appointments although COVID safety precautions will be in place.
Please note that I currently have a waiting list of people who prefer face-to-face appointments, which might delay my ability to see new clients.
Therapy sessions will be, as always, on an appointment basis only.
You should not attend your appointment if you or anyone in your household or bubble:
If you cancel an appointment for any of these reasons, no penalties for late cancellation will be enforced. 'Cancel' means you must contact me before your appointment to let me know you will not be attending.
At each appointment, you will be asked to use a hand sanitiser on arrival and to sign a confirmation that none of the above applies to you. You may wish to perform a lateral flow test before you come - these can be obtained free of charge from THIS LINK or from some local pharmacies.
In compliance with the advice issued by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, your temperature may be taken by non-contact means; readings will be recorded in your client notes.
If I have to self-isolate (for example, if I am contacted via NHS Test and Trace) I will have to cancel face-to-face appointments but will notify you as soon as I can and re-arrange the time and date of your appointment.
Before your first appointment, as much information as possible will be collected online to keep face-to-face time to a minimum.
Appointments will run strictly to time to allow for thorough cleaning between clients.
You should come on your own if possible. Anyone accompanying you will not be able to enter the building (unless you are a child or a vulnerable adult who needs a chaperone).
From 17th May, you may enter the building on arrival and wait in the waiting room.
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment, and wear a face-covering unless you are in an exempt group.
There is a QR code for those using the NHS test and trace app.
Please use the hand gel or wash your hands on entering the building and before leaving.
We will maintain a 2m distance wherever possible, and I have a screen placed between us during the therapy session.
Remember online sessions are still available, please see this page, or ask for details.
Payment should be made before you attend, by bank transfer or Paypal and I will provide details of how to do this on request.
The client chair will be cleaned, and the chair covering will be replaced between appointments.
All frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned.
